Marginal Way, Portland
Architect: CWS Architects
Owner: Five Liver Company
Contract Value: $2 million |
Because of its location on Portland’s back shore and being
constructed on marine clay, this building was given special
attention to structural elements. It has a steel structural frame
with cold form framing walls and a masonry veneer. Each of the two
stories are approximately 10,000 square feet and were constructed
during the harsh winter months making the entire project more
challenging.
