Wright-Ryan Construction to Start Facilities Project at Southern Maine Community College

(South Portland, ME) – Wright-Ryan Construction has been chosen by Southern Maine Community College and the State of Maine Bureau of General Services to complete interior renovations encompassing three existing campus facilities.

Slated to start in early spring of 2010, the three renovation projects will help to further academic efficiency and enhance student life. This project will include a 4,000 sq. ft. renovation of the Technology Building basement allowing for relocation and expansion of IT services, a Marine Science Building lab renovation of 900 sq. feet with wall modifications and new lab furnishings, and a 7,000 sq. ft. conversion of the current gym basement into a new fitness area including a weight room, cardio equipment and a yoga studio.
