Cony High School

The new Cony High School spans 184,000 square feet and include 56 classrooms, three regulation size basketball courts, an auditorium with an occupancy level of 950, a courtyard and a food court.  The project was constructed from masonry blocks and required superior supervision due to the very vast jobsite.  Upon owner’s request, the schedule was accelerated

and Wright-Ryan was able to finish the job ahead of schedule for the students to start their 2006 school year in the new facility.  The new high school design incorporates the old flatiron look of the original high school.
