Experienced Field Carpenter

Wright-Ryan Construction is currently seeking full-time, experienced Field Carpenters to join our Field Operations team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth within the Wright-Ryan team; carpenters who demonstrate sound carpentry, leadership and technology skills have the potential to move into a Lead Carpenter position and eventually to Foreman as volume of work and projects permit.

An essential craft position for Wright-Ryan, the Field Carpenter plays a key role in helping us achieve our profit goals.  This position requires a skilled individual who is familiar with a wide variety of building materials (primarily wood) and has a general knowledge of basic fasteners and fastening systems, as well as knowledge of framing and blocking. In addition, this individual will work with concrete under the direction of an experienced concrete lead.  Our Carpenters work on both commercial projects where accuracy and production speed are key and on custom homes where productivity and finish quality is essential.  Staff are expected to follow our customer service standards and practice collaboration to ensure the success of the crew.

This position works under the supervision of a lead person, foreman, or superintendent and supports team efforts to meet production commitments through the efficient and effective completion of all basic field carpentry activities. Our valued carpenters are part of a career ladder, so if you are interested in advancement this may be the position for you.
