John Ryan, PE


A co-founder of the firm in 1984, John comes from an engineering background.  He is a registered Professional Engineer, Maine PE No. 4936. John has nearly thirty years experience in executive management of engineering and construction projects.  He has overseen the growth of Wright-Ryan from residential roots to one of the largest and most successful construction management firms in Maine.


John Bencosme

Chief Financial Officer

John has over fifteen years of financial management experience in the construction industry. He received his Bachelor of Science in Finance and International Business from the Leonard Stern School of Business at New York University. Prior to joining the Wright-Ryan team, John served for three years as the Director of Finance at Forest Electric Corporation in New York City.


Suzanne Benoit, LCSW, SPHR

Director of Human Resources

Suzanne joined the Wright-Ryan team as Director of Human Resources in 2012 after a brief consulting assignment. With over 20 years of senior leadership experience, Suzanne is the Social Media Vice President and a board member of the Human Resource Association of Southern Maine. She is a presenter for various organizations in Southern Maine on Organizational Culture and writes a management blog for Human Resource professionals.


Cordelia Pitman, RA, LEED AP BD+C

Director of Pre-Construction Services

Cordelia has been Director of Preconstruction Services for Wright-Ryan since 2009.  She joined us from a local architectural firm where she was a project architect for over 15 years.  Cordelia has spent years leading projects from inception through design and construction, and has hands-on experience coordinating architecture, structure and MEP – making her a perfect match for our preconstruction department.  Cordelia graduated with a BA in Physics from Middlebury College and earned her Master of Architecture from Columbia University. Cordelia served on and chaired the City of Portland Historic Preservation Board for over a decade, and is currently a member of the Greater Portland Landmarks Board of Directors. Cordelia has been trained in Revit 2011, and is well-versed in other CAD/BIM software.


Jeff Heseltine

General Manager of Field Operations

Jeff, formerly of J.D. Heseltine Construction, joined the Wright-Ryan team as the General Manager of Field Operations.  After running a highly successful construction company for 15 years, Jeff has the skill set to manage and estimate all labor for Wright-Ryan’s residential and commercial divisions.


Kevin Griffeth

Operations Manager and Safety Director

Kevin has been a team member of Wright-Ryan since 1992, and focuses on assisting both the commercial and residential divisions in safety management, logistics support, project close-out and warranty. Kevin supports Wright-Ryan’s high-standard of customer service and commitment to on-site safety.
