Congregation Bet Ha’am Gets National Architectural Acclaim

December 27, 2013

PORTLAND – The December 27, 2013 article in the Portland Press Herald, “South Portland synagogue gets national architectural acclaim,” highlights Congregation Bet Ha’am. The Congregation was recently recognized by The Huffington Post as one of “50 Stunning Synagogues and Temples From Around The World.” The Huffington Post designation puts the synagogue in the company of temples and synagogues in New York, San Francisco, Tel Aviv, Paris, Prague, and Florence.

Wright-Ryan partnered with Shim-Sutcliffe Architects, Inc. of Toronto to complete the work on Congregation Bet Ha’am in 2008. Click here to learn more about the project and to view a stunning gallery of images from photographer Michael Barriault.
