The Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE) moved its global headquarters to Portland, consolidating its operations and hundreds of employees from multiple locations. The organization settled on building a new facility in the heart of the Old Port, nestled between Fore and Commercial Street. Wright-Ryan carefully erected a 65,000 square-foot 5-story building in a dense urban environment while coordinating with adjoining operations including Homeland Security. We even provided temporary walk-in coolers, freezers, and office space for a restaurant neighboring our work site and coordinated deliveries for a second restaurant on a daily basis.
