This uniquely designed building serves as both a Welcome Center for Plymouth State University and as an ice arena with zones for ice rink support, spectator areas for 850 people, locker rooms, and skate rentals. Under the parking area lies a closed-loop geothermal system used to support the facility’s heating and cooling system as well as all the refrigeration equipment dedicated to the ice rink.
