Architect: Kennebunk River Architects
Photographer: Ari Kellerman

Set on the tranquil shores of one of Maine’s pristine lakes, this newly built camp is a modern take on the timeless New England tradition of lakeside living. The project seamlessly blends craftsmanship, comfort, and context—delivering a four-season retreat that feels both elevated and entirely at home in its natural setting.

From the outset, the goal was to create a camp that honored Maine’s rustic heritage while embracing the refined details expected of a high-end custom home. Natural materials, curated textures, and expansive windows frame lake views and blur the lines between indoors and out. Thoughtful site orientation and custom architectural features make the most of the property’s topography, offering sun-drenched gathering spaces and direct water access.
