About

Our team built three new residence halls on an active college campus, replacing outdated housing with modern, energy-efficient living spaces. Each 17,700-square-foot, wood-framed building accommodates 44 students and is organized around a central courtyard. The 21 fully accessible apartments are configured in four-, six-, and eight-bedroom layouts, each with kitchenettes, living areas, and bathrooms. Each hall also features a two-story common space with exposed glulam beams, providing inviting areas for student programming and community gatherings.

Sustainability

Each of the 3 buildings was designed and built to meet Passive House standards. The buildings incorporate multiple insulation systems, air vapor barriers, triple-pane windows, and high-efficiency air-exchange systems.
