About

To accommodate the growing excitement around Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, Wright-Ryan constructed a new Visitor Center and site expansion. Built in a former parking lot, the two-and-three story structure gives the Gardens a visitor center that is three times larger than the existing center. The first and second floor have shared office space and communal office space for staff and volunteers along with storage and facilities. The third floor of the building has a 75-seat meeting room. Wright-Ryan was then tasked with renovating and expanding the Café, enhancing the Culinary Department’s ability to serve guests with exceptional dining experiences. The updated café features ample seating and sweeping views of the Great Lawn and Kitchen Garden.
