Hathaway Mill, by Wright-Ryan

Since the mid-1800s, the 238,000 square-foot Hathaway Mill had been at the core of Waterville’s textile industry. When it was silenced in 2003, developers sought to convert it into mixed-use space.  This was no ordinary renovation; the Mill was the architectural soul of the city and needed to be preserved. Wright-Ryan Construction kept this in mind during the renovation and was awarded the State Preservation Award for Excellence in Rehabilitation.
